Furniture Polisher Job Description
A furniture polisher or finisher stains, polishes and finishes new wooden furniture.

The Work
 prepare the wood by sanding and filling in holes and chips
 mixing the stain and applying it to the wood by spraying it on
 finish the wood with varnishes, waxes and lacquers which complies with the Health and Safety regulations
 finish the tropical wood (teak) with oils

Requirements – Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
 Education and Training: To become a furniture polisher, we require training in a vocational school that offers upholstery courses. In addition, a minimum of 3 years work experience in similar position is required.
 Communication Skill: Follow the guidelines of their supervisors.
 Language Skill: Fluent use of English language is required.
