Possible Responsibilities:
- Foot & Ankle Exams: Conduct physical exams to assess foot and ankle health.
- Diagnosis: Identify conditions such as fractures, sprains, infections, arthritis, and deformities like bunions or hammertoes.
- Treatment: Provide treatments including physical therapy, orthotics, and medications for pain or inflammation.
- Surgical Interventions: Perform surgeries for serious foot or ankle conditions, like reconstructive surgery or tendon repairs.
- Wound Care: Treat wounds or ulcers, particularly for patients with diabetes or poor circulation.
- Patient Education: Advise patients on proper foot care, hygiene, and footwear choices to prevent further issues.
